Different ways to partake in your medical marijuana: edibles

Have you ever wondered what are the different ways in which you can partake in your Medical Marijuana? Well, here is some information on just that! This article, pertains to edibles specifically and even includes a brownie recipe!

There are so many different ways to enjoy the benefits of your Medical Marijuana . Some patients in Virginia prefer to smoke the flower or use tinctures.

If you are looking for a long-lasting effect for pain management, relaxation and anxiety relief without actually smoking the flower, edibles may be the best option for you.

Edibles come in many different forms, and it may be a bit overwhelming for those that are new to medical marijuana.

Edibles and their Different Forms

Edibles can take many different forms, such as tablets, or even different types of candy. One of the most popular forms are gummies, which you can get at your local dispensary.

Tasteology makes medicated chews in flavors such as blueberry, peach, and mango-pineapple. These gummies come with about 5 grams of THC, and 7 grams of CBD.

Press offers hard-pressed medical marijuana-infused tablets, which have about 9mg of THC and roughly 6 mg of CBD.

You can purchase any of these forms at your local dispensary. For the best fit, make sure to ask a dispensary employee what products might be right for you and your medical needs.

THC is going to give you that “high” effect where was CBD is more for general pain relief. If you aren’t looking for a high, there are plenty of items with minimal THC levels.

Homemade Edibles

The types of edibles offered at dispensaries may still be limited, but as the medical marijuana program progresses, more new products will continue to become available.

If gummies and tablets are not your thing, we’ve got you covered.

There are many ways to make your own homemade edibles, and it’s not hard to do. It’s also a cheaper option. If you enjoy baked goods, you might also consider baking your very own pancakes or muffins for a breakfast treat!

Marijuana brownies are an age-old classic, because well lets face it, chocolate is supreme and makes all things taste better! They are very easy to make and don’t require alot of time. You can even freeze them for later!
