Incapacitated Adult Medical Marijuana Certification

In order for an incapacitated adult to get a medical marijuana card they need to be issued a medical cannabis certificate and so does the parent or legal guardian. Once both the incapacitated patient and the parent or legal guardian have their certificates they can both apply to receive their medical marijuana cards from the Virginia Board of Pharmacy.

The reason the parent or legal guardian is also required to have a medical marijuana card is because you cannot get into the state-regulated medical marijuana dispensaries in Virginia without a medical marijuana card.
